English 11 Course of Study

Course Description:

This course will proceed in units covering different modes of composition, vocabulary, formal speech and levels of usage.  Literacy and reading strategies are emphasized through fictional and non-fictional literature.

English 11 Quarterly topics:

First Quarter

●      Media Awareness (email, websites v. search engines, databases, etc.)

●      Selected fiction and/or nonfiction pieces

Second Quarter
